WW1 Trio & Memorial Plaque ( Jacques, Yorks Reg.) 295.00

13482 Pte. Christopher Hunter Jacques 9th. Battalion Yorkshire Regiment (Green Howards). Born in 1895, St. James, Benwell, Newcastle, Jacques enlisted in Bolden Colliery. He was a resident of Darlington entering the Balkan theatre of war on the 28th. September 1915. He served with the 2nd, 6th. and 9th Battalions and was wounded in November 1916. Christopher Jacques was sadly killed in action the following year on the 16th. October 1917 aged 22. Remembered with honour at Tyne Cot Memorial near Ypres, Belgium.
